About Me

Hello! I’m Nancy and yes, I am a bit of a nomad. My husband, my son and I enjoy traveling and living around the world. Myself - I love to travel; I love to write; and, I love to teach. Good combination it seems since I have been lucky enough to earn my keep by doing all three in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas for the last 30+ years.
I work as an education and public health advisor on global health and behaviour change projects that help people live healthier lives. I am in a whirlwind of discussions and research work investigating behavior change and why people do what they do and helping to identify strategies for healthier and happier schools and communities. Fun stuff.
My partner and I design games for real-world problems with a behaviour change lens, having developed games for NCD prevention and control, communicable disease prevention and control, prejudice reduction, conflict resolution and anti-racism. When you smile while you’re working, it’s always a good sign. Life is good.
